Volume 1 - Iron Talon Trilogy[]
Prologue[]
The wanderer awoke.
Surrounded by black, only a muted hum in the background.
The liquid that kept it's body sustained had drained away... and it took a while to adjust to the sudden gravity.
It stirred for a moment, before it remembered its purpose... it opened it's eyes, and cleared the grey fuzz of a decade-long sleep out of it's mind. It was pleased that did not forget its task after the long journey... like so many lost wanderers in the past.
It focussed it's psychic will, and the chamber around it temporarily became part of it's body, as it pushed the hatches outward...it was engulfed in white light.
